PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide image processing method and image processor applicable even to an image read out by means of an ordinary scanner and capable of correcting an image obtained by reading out a spread document appropriately. SOLUTION: Image of a spread document read out by means of a scanner 2 is acquired by an image correcting section 13 directly or after being stored in an image data storage section 12. A binding position detecting section 14 specifies the binding position of document in the image.
