PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner which permits an excellent fixing property of hot offset by enhancing the dispersion of lubricant in the toner and permits excellent color reproductivity by enhancing the dispersion of colorant in the toner by polymerization method. SOLUTION: The toner comprises at least binder resin, colorant and lubricant. Therein, the binder resin and the lubricant are dissolved or dispersed into organic solvent or polymerizable monomer and toner particles are formed in an aqueous medium, wherein the lubricant is coated with the colorant beforehand.
