PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information distribution device capable of varying the quality of information for each category of information when reproducing multimedia information within a specified time limit. SOLUTION: The information distribution device includes a first information storage part for storing multimedia information including images and voice; a second information storage part for storing user request information including information related to the desired quality of the multimedia information set by a user who desires the distribution of the multimedia information; an information processing part that, based on the user request information, changes the quality of the multimedia information stored in the first information storage part, for each category imparted to the multimedia information, so as to create information for sending to an information terminal that the user owns; and a sending part that sends the pieces of information created by the information processing part to the information terminal in sequence.
