PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste incinerator capable of stabilizing the combustion in a furnace. SOLUTION: A gas is injected from a pair of nozzles 16 mounted on left and right of a furnace wall 17 in opposition to each other, and the airflows collide with each other at a central part of the furnace in a plane cross sectional view (a). A stagnation area 15 where the movement of the gas in the furnace is slow and the gas stays, is formed at the central part of the furnace.
