PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine-driven working machine easy of maintenance checkup, having a small installation area and sufficient lower noise countermeasures. SOLUTION: The engine driven working machine stored in a sound insulating case has an engine 50 and a working machine 51 to be driven by the engine. It comprises a case body 1 having wall, ceiling and bottom faces formed by two face materials with a space therebetween and consisting of a lower chamber 1a storing the engine and the working machine and an upper chamber 1b storing an engine radiator with a cooling fan and engine electric components, arranged on the upper and lower sides, and a center space 153 partitioned with the face materials and arranged between the upper chamber and the lower chamber, at least parts of the space and the center space being used as an air duct, and a top case 2 installed at the upper part of the case body and storing an engine muffler.
