PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor finishing structure capable of finishing the floor surface with the excellent appearance and excellent in waterproofing property and a floor finishing method with high workability. SOLUTION: In the floor finishing structure finishing the floor by arranging a plurality of rectangular finish floor boards on a sub-floor and fixing them to the sub-floor, the finish floor board has tongues projected sideways in two sides adjacent to each other, at the same time, remaining two sides have recess sections, the adjoining finish floor boards are connected by a tongue and groove joint connecting a plurality of finish floor boards by fitting the tongue of one finish floor board recess section of the other finish floor board, at the same time, continuous lattice-like joint grooves with upward openings are formed, and the joint grooves are filled with a joint sealing material. The method for constructing the floor finishing structure comprises a finish flooring fixing process fixing the finish flooring on the sub-floor by driving a fixture passing through the tongue or the recess section from the bottom section of the joint groove in the sub-floor and a joint sealing material filling process filling the joint groove with the joint sealing material.
