PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clamping device for a clamping member, which can easily constitute a bolt feed mechanism by using a commercially available inexpensive clamping tool. SOLUTION: The clamping device is formed of an impact trench 1 having a socket 13 for mounting the clamping member W on the tip of a rotary member 12 rotated by a driving source, a first support mechanism 2 supporting the impact trench 1, a second support mechanism 3 slidably supporting the first support mechanism 2, an energizing means 4 for energizing the impact trench 1 in a protruding direction, and a lock mechanism 5 consisting of a cam portion 52 formed on the periphery of the rotary member 12 and a lock member 53 reciprocatively movable by following the cam portion 52. The lock mechanism 5 is arranged on the second support mechanism 3, and it assumes a locking position when it is located at a location where the energizing means 4 is most strongly exerted, while it assumes an unlocking position upon rotation of the rotary member 12, whereby the socket 13 on which the clamping member W is mounted is rotatively advanced.
