The tester has housing, and a solar cell (4) that is activated by a light source (2). The cell outputs different values of transmitted light power of a material on an indicating instrument by applying foils. A reference stripe from a PVC-coated polyester cloth is provided to the solar cell, and adjusted with a dimmer switch (3) over a luminous intensity to a round reference value.
