The lamp assembly comprises of a number of halogen or halogen metal halide lamps which are movable and alignable in all directions. A covering material with light openings (2) is flush-fitted to cover the lamps. The covering material measures about 8 to 15 cms wide and 29 to 100 cms long, preferably 10 cms wide and 60 cms long which is enough to cover the lamps. A glass panel (6) covers each light opening formed on the covering material. The covering material is joined to the screw area of a lighting fixture.
