A lamp (13), enclosed in a semi-transparent outer covering (14), is provided on a support (12). A container (15), e.g. test tube made of borosilicate glass or metal, is filled with aromatic fluid. The container is inserted into the opening (23) of the outer covering, such that it is in the heating range of the lamp. The container can be pulled out from the bulb through a flange (29). The lamp can be a halogen lamp or an all-purpose glow lamp (AGL) lamp. The lamp is also covered by a protecting glass (16) made of borosilicate glass.
