<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently receive raster data which is generated correctly with no interruption of process even if an error occurs at the generation of the raster data. <P>SOLUTION: The raster data of each page generated correctly from PDL data, the information representing error content when a raster data is not correctly generated due to the occurrence of error at RIP process, and an error sheet containing page discriminator representing the page of error, are transmitted from a DFE device 500A to a BEP device 600. The BEP device 600 transmits, to the DFE device 500A in which an error occurs, the transmission instruction information for transmitting PDL data to another DFE device 500B which can cope with error, based on the information representing error content indicated on the error sheet which is received when the error sheet is received.
