<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To curtail the cost of parts, and detect the wind power at all times even in case that a windmill 11 is compulsively braked. <P>SOLUTION: This generator device has the windmill 11 which generates driving force by rotating by wind power, a generator 19 which generates power by operating by the driving force of the windmill 11, a short-circuit brake 21 which switches the output side of the generator 19 into an output state and a short-circuit state, a rotational speed input part 41 which recognizes the scale of the wind power in both states, based on the rotational speed of the windmill 11 in an output state and the rotational speed of the windmill 11 in a short circuit state, and an arithmetic unit 51 which determines into which state of the output state and the short circuit state to switch the generator 19, based on the rotational speed of the windmill 11, and also switches the short-circuit brake 21, based on the determination results. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
