<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a customer to select the sequence of the return of media, and to store information related with the sequence selected by the customer and the customer information in the storage means of a host device, and to apply it to the next operation for returning the medium in the sequence suitable for the tastes of the customer, and for preventing a transaction time from being prolonged without troubling the customer. <P>SOLUTION: This medium return sequence selecting system is provided with a customer operating part 12 to be operated by a customer for executing financial transaction, a medium treating part for treating media and a host interface 17 for communicating with a host device, and the customer operating part 12 is provided with a medium return sequence selecting means.
