<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress degrading of travel feeling in an electric vehicle while durability of the inverter of an electric machine does not degrade. <P>SOLUTION: The arrangement comprises the electric machine, an inverter 29 which is operated based on the target value of the torque of the electric machine and generates AC current based on a DC voltage to supply the AC current to the electric machine for driving the electric machine, a drive part temperature detecting part for detecting a drive part temperature of the electric machine, a restriction factor calculating means 91 for calculating the restriction factor based on the drive part temperature, and a torque changing means 92 for changing the target value based on the restriction factor. The restriction factor becomes smaller as the drive part temperature rises, for smaller gradient. Here, the drive part temperature is detected and the restriction factor is calculated based on it, and then the target value of torque of the electric machine is changed based on the restriction factor, with no degradation in durability of the inverter 29. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
