<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable dehumidifier constituted by arranging an air intake, an operation part, a handle part, and a blow-out port rationally from the viewpoint of appearance and function. <P>SOLUTION: A main fan, a dehumidifying rotor impregnated with dehumidifying agent and its motor, a regeneration heater for taking out moisture absorbed in the dehumidifying rotor by applying heated air to a part of the dehumidifying rotor, a regeneration fan, and a heat exchanger are stored in a main body case 11. The air intake is provided on a rear face of the main body case 11. The operation part 27 for giving commands for setting operation mode and starting or stopping operation is provided on a front face side of an upper face of the main body case 11. The handle part 28B to which a handle 28 for carrying the portable dehumidifier is attached is provided at a position lower than the operation part 27 by one step on its rear face side.
