<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface treatment composition for a metal, which forms a surface treatment film having superior adhesiveness and further corrosion resistance, on a wide range of metallic materials with a treatment liquid containing no harmful component to the environment. <P>SOLUTION: The surface treatment composition for a metal includes (A) a compound containing at least one element selected from the group consisting of Ti, Zr, Hf and Si, and (B) at least one compound selected from the group consisting of naphthalenesulfonic acid, naphthalenesulfonic-acid-formaldehyde condensate, styrenesulfonic acid, polystyrenesulfonic acid, vinyl amine, polyvinylamine, allylamine, polyallylamine and a derivative thereof, so that a ratio K1 of the total mass concentration of the component (B) to that of the component (A) can satisfy 0.01≤K1≤50; and (C) a compound containing at least one metallic element selected from the group consisting of Ag, Al, Cu, Fe, Mn, Mg, Ni, Co, Zn, Ca and Sr. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
