PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a disk cartridge in which operability for pressing a disk can be improved. SOLUTION: The disk cartridge 10 comprises a disk medium 12 of a disk type in which a recording plane 12B and a non-recording plane 12 A are formed; a case 14 formed joining an upper shell 26 enabling to take out the disk medium 12 and having a disk opening part 35 exposing the non-recording plane 12A and a lower shell 28 having an opening 20 opened and closed by shutter members 60, 18; and a disk presser 24 provided rotatably at a rear side of the case 14 for pressing and holding the non-recording plane 12A at the time of non-use of the disk medium 12. A first locking projection 88 is provided projectingly at a case 14 front side more than a rotary axis line, while a second locking projection 38 is provided projectingly at an inner plane of the upper shell 26 of a rear side more than the rotary axis line, a coil spring 90 is stretched between the first locking projection 88 and the second locking projection 38.
