PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner-fixing system where the temperature rise of a head is prevented to eliminate influence on the characteristic life of the head and film is used, without being replaced over a long period. SOLUTION: (1) The toner fixing system has a structure where the temperature of a thermal head is always prevented from getting high, by adding a cooling mechanism by water cooling to the thermal head. (2) It has a structure where film is wound in a roll state so as to realize long length, consequently the life time of film take-up structure is prolonged, and also fixing operation can be restarted by rotating a take-up side and a taken-up side, without rewinding the film when detecting the trailing end of the roll.
