The invention relates to a method of, and system for, controlling an in-vehicle temperature comfort device heater (8) by obtaining from a user a desired temperature setting (3) for the comfort device and obtaining a current temperature of the comfort device, subtracting the current temperature from the desired temperature yielding a temperature difference, and multiplying this temperature difference by a numeric calibration factor to produce a PWM signal for controlling the duty cycle to the comfort device heater (8).
