A holder for a drink container, especially for use in vehicles, comprises an open or closed holding ring for the container, composed of a ring member (1) made of a hard material. Holding fingers (2) extend inwards from the ring and consist of a soft plastic material. The top of the fingers have sliding sections (3) made of plastic eg ABS or PC.
