COENZYME Q COMPOSITIONS PERSISTING IN BLOOD

To further ensure the achievement of the effects of coenzyme Q which is expected as highly contributing to human and animal health maintenance, it i s intended to provide a composition capable of achieving a high concentration in the blood and a long-term persistence in the blood. Namely, a composition comprising coenzyme Q as a mixture of reduced coenzyme Q with oxidized coenzyme Q wherein the ratio of the reduced coenzyme Q exceeds 95% by weight to the total coenzyme Q. By using this composition, a high maximum coenzyme Q concentration in the blood can be obtained and, moreover, the concentration in the blood can be maintained at a high level and the area under the blood concentration curve (AUC) can be enlarged.
