In a valve tester of the type comprising a plurality of valve holders, one for each of the different base pin arrangements of the valves to be tested, all like numbered sockets A1, B1, C1, D1, E1 and so on, are progressively wired into wire loops of approximately equal length extending from a selector switch 10, which enables any of the sockets of the holders to be connected to any of the leads to the test circuit, each loop being closed back to the switch through a damping resistance R1 &c. (e.g. of 100-1000#), thereby preventing oscillation of the valve due to the distributed capacity and inductance of the inter valve holder wiring. Specification 510,098 is referred to. |
