The printing machine has an in-line inspection system with a lighting unit spaced away from the printed material, the light source (07) being cooled by a liquid or gaseous cooling medium. Cooling medium used for the cooling of the aforesaid light source is taken from a cooling medium circuit for the cooling of a chilling roller of a chilling roller stand belonging to the printing machine, and/or from a cooling medium circuit for the cooling of an inking temperature control roller of an inking unit, and/or a cooling medium circuit for the cooling of a damping roller of a damping unit.
