<p>Preparation of aminofunctionalized organopolysiloxanes (A) comprises mixing aminosilane (I) with organosilicium compounds (II), basic catalysts (alkali hydroxides, alkali alcoholates and alkali siloxanolates) and optionally alcohol compounds (III); heating the reaction mixture at 70-100[deg]C; and neutralizing the basic catalysts by adding a neutralizing agent to the mixture and that forms soluble basic salts of (A). Preparation of aminofunctionalized organopolysiloxanes (A) comprises mixing aminosilane (I) of formula R aQ bSi(OR 1>) 4 - ( a + b ) with organosilicium compounds (II) (siloxanes of formula R d(OR 1>) fSiO (4-(d+f)/2) or R cSiO(4-c/2); or silanes of formula R cSi(OR 1>) 4 - c), basic catalysts (alkali hydroxides, alkali alcoholates and alkali siloxanolates) and optionally alcohol compounds (III) of formula H-[O(CHR 2>) p] mOR 3>; heating the reaction mixture at 70-100[deg]C; and neutralizing the basic catalysts by adding a neutralizing agent to the mixture and that forms soluble basic salts of (A). R : H or optionally F-, Cl- or Br- substituted 1-18C hydrocarbon; R 1>H or 1-4C alkyl (optionally substituted with ether); a : 0-2; b : 1-3 (where the sum of a+b is lesser than or equal to 3); Q : -R 5>-[NR 6>(CH 2) n] eN(R 6>) 2; R 5>1-18C hydrocarbon; R 6>H, 1-18C hydrocarbon (optionally substituted with F-, Cl-, Br-, OH- or 1-5C alkoxy) or acyl; e : 0-4; n : 2-6; c : 0-3; d : 0-2; f : 1-3 (where the sum of d+f is less than or equal to 3); R 2>H or 1-18C hydrocarbon; R 3>H, 1-30C hydrocarbon or -C(=O)-R 4>; R 4>R 2> or OR 2>; p : 2-4; and m : 0-100. An independent claim is also included for aminofunctionalized organopolysiloxanes compounds of formula (Z(R) 2SiO((R) 2SiO) k(RQSiO) lSi(R) 2Z). Z : -OR 1> and/or -[O(CHR 2>) p] mOR 3>; k : 50-700; and l : 1-60. Provided that at least a portion of Z is of formula -[O(CHR 2>) p] mOR 3>, where m is equal to 0 and R 3> is 10-12C alkyl or 10-12C alkoxy.</p> |
