An ink jet recording sheet which comprises a support and an ink-receiving layer formed on at least one side of the support, said ink-receiving layer comprising a pigment, colloidal particles or a mixture thereof, and a binder resin, as the main components, wherein the ink-receiving layer contains at least one organic titanium compound of the following formula 1 or 2:wherein R is hydrogen or CmH2m+1, provided that m is 3 or 4, R' is hydrogen, NH4<+> or CnH2n+1, provided that n is an integer of from 1 to 3, and x is an integer of from 1 to 3,wherein R'' is CpH2p, provided that p is an integer of from 5 to 8, R''' is CqH2q+1, provided that q is 3 or 4, and y is an integer of from 1 to 3. |
