4-(6-Spiro-1'-cyclopropane-1a,6-dihydro-1H-cyclopropa(a)inden-6a-yl)-1H-imidazoles (I), and their optionally hydrated mineral or organic acid addition salts, isomers (specifically the D- and L-isomers) and tautomers, are new. 4-(6-Spiro-1'-cyclopropane-1a,6-dihydro-1H-cyclopropa(a)inden-6a-yl)-1H-imidazoles of formula (I), and their optionally hydrated mineral or organic acid addition salts, isomers (specifically the D- and L-isomers) and tautomers, are new: R1 = H, F or OMe; R2 = H or Me; and R3 = H, Me or Et. An Independent claim is also included for the preparation of (I).
