The feeder has a scuffing bush (5), which is arranged in a bucket wheel casing (1). A conical bucket wheel (4) is arranged on a motor gear axle and rotates in the casing and bush. The wheel has front and rear ring shaped front walls (6, 7), and stretches between the walls. Spokes extend radially with regard to the axle to form carriages of the wheel. Scraping grooves are provided on mantle surfaces (10) of the front walls of the wheel.
