The invention relates to a relay communication device, communication method and mobile communication system which uses the device. Relay communication device comprises mainly: a great control unit consisting of digital signal processor; a terminal accessing function unit consisting of RF tranceiver and physical layer signal processing device as well as a single antenna and feeder; a base station function unit consisting of RF tranceiver and physical layer signal processing device as well as a single antenna and feeder. Realizing the receiving and transmitting radio signal between relay communication device and certain base station in the mobile communication, as well as between relay communication device and mobile terminal. Mobile communication system using the relay communication device comprises at least said relay communication device. The relay communication device may be placed in the area which does not be covered by the mobile communication network, so that a common user terminal can get mobile communication service in this area. The relay communication device realizes information exchange between terminals in the subnet, and realizes communication between terminals in the subnet and out of the subnet by searched base station.
