PURPOSE: A wash water circulation device of a drum-type washing machine is provided to reduce the use of water and electric energy by exactly measuring the water level to normally operate a pump. CONSTITUTION: A wash water circulation device of a drum-type washing machine comprises a tub(56) in which wash water is received; a pump assembly(70) pumping the wash water of the lower part of the tub; a circulation passage(74) injecting the wash water pumped by the pump assembly to circulate the wash water to the tub side; and a water level sensor(72) measuring the water pressure of the wash water discharged from the pump assembly and sensing the water level of the tub. The pump assembly is connected to the lower side of the tub. One end of the circulation passage is connected to the pump assembly and the other end is situated to the inside of the tub. The water level sensor is installed to the circulation passage or the pump assembly. |
