<p>Filling element (1) for filling bottles (3), etc. with a liquid filling material comprises a liquid channel (9) in a housing (8) of the filling element that is connected to a reservoir or vessel (4) for the filling material and forms a dispensing opening (12) for the filling material, a first liquid valve (13) arranged between the inlet and the dispensing opening in the liquid channel, an actuating device (17) for controlled opening and closing of the first liquid valve, a tube (15) provided with a first open end in the region of the dispensing opening, channels (22-24) formed in the housing, and control valves (18-21). The control valve (21) serves as an additional liquid valve and connects the second end of the tube for free-jet filling of the bottle, arranged with its opening a distance from the filling element, to the reservoir or vessel. An independent claim is also included for a filling machine for filling bottles, etc. with a liquid filling material.</p> |
