ANTIFOULING WATER-BASED COATING COMPOSITION

A water-based anti-fouling coating composition useful as a paint, building finish coating material, etc., which comprises (A) a water-based dispersion of a silicone-modified acrylic emulsion, (B) colloidal inorganic particles, (C) a sulfosuccinic acid based surface active agent, and (D) a surface active agent having a radical-polymerizable double bond and containing an alkylene oxide group. The water-based anti-fouling coating composition can prevent fouling immediately after coating film formation, and has excellent retention of the effect of preventing rain streaks-like fouling or stain by rain. The coating has satisfactory storage stability.
