The cabinet 12 is mounted on a stand 430 (530, Fig 28) and arranged to be adjusted and rotate with respect to it in the fashion of a cheval mirror or an easel. The body of the cabinet has a frame including top, bottom, side walls (12, 16, 18 and 20 respectively, Fig.2) and a back wall as well as a front door 12. The door 12 may be provided with a mirror 426 and the interior of the cabinet, as well as the door have a range of jewellery supporting members which include a bracelet bar 52, earring bars 42 having slits, ring holders 60, shelves 72 preferably having movable partitions 74, hooks (92, Fig 16) preferably mounted on bars 50 and pouches 54 below the hooks to hold long necklaces. The support members may be interchangeable and their attachment system may be mechanical, hook and loop or magnetic. The cabinet may also comprise a mounting structure for hanging the cabinet by itself on a wall. |
