Manufacture of a container top part forming a cover of a container for solid, paste-like liquid and particulate products, particularly food products, comprises placing a foil (14) into an injection mold (15), and heating the foil to a predetermined temperature before it is contacted by a plastic material injected into the injection mold. Manufacture of a container top part forming a cover of a container for solid, paste-like liquid and particulate products, particularly food products, where foil is provided on the container top part, and container top part consists of a plastic material, comprises providing an injection mold having a cavity corresponding to the container top part; placing the foil into the injection mold, and heating the foil to a predetermined temperature before it is contacted by a plastic material injected into the injection mold; injecting the plastic material into the injection mold in contact with the heated foil, to establish a connection between the container top part and the heated foil in the injection mold; and permitting the container top part and foil connected to it, to jointly cool down to form the container top part with the foil joined with it. |
