FIELD: medicine, plastic surgery. ^ SUBSTANCE: one should dissect scars located on areas being adjacent to mammary glands, tighten intact skin of adjacent areas to scar-deformed mammary gland, 6-12 mo later implant an expander under shifted tissues, in 4-6 wk dissect tightening scars above the gland, fulfill plasty by applying an expander-stretched flap.
