FIELD: hydrometallurgy; reprocessing of molybdenum production wastes. ^ SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of hydrometallurgy, in particular, to a waste products processing. The wastes of molybdenum production are treated with mineral acids, separate the acid molybdenum-containing solution or use initial acid molybdenum-containing solution (waste products). Then conduct injection in it of a ferrous reactant, an additive of an alkaline reactant, aged pulp produced at stirring, filtration, flushing out and a drying. The last stage is calcination of ferromolybdate, which is conducted in two phases. At the first phase the calcination conduct at the temperature of 550-640°C within 1-2 hours, and then at the second phase - at the temperature of 870-950°C with simultaneous blowing by air at its consumption of 10-34 l/g.hours within 0.5-2.5 hours. The technical result of the invention is production of: ferromolybdates with the low contents of sulfur; a free from admixtures (S, W, Fe, etc.) molybdenum oxide (MoO3) suitable for production of high-grade molybdenum-containing products; cost reduction of pure molybdenum-containing product. ^ EFFECT: the invention ensures production of: ferromolybdates with the low contents of sulfur; a free from admixtures (S, W, Fe, etc) molybdenum oxide (MoO3) suitable for production of high-grade molybdenum-containing products; cost reduction of pure molybdenum-containing product. ^ 1 tbl
