FIELD: locking accessories, applicable for cut off of flows of working environment. ^ SUBSTANCE: ball for the ball cock with guide tube (1) located in the middle and outside spherical envelope welded to guide tube (1). Bushes 2 pass between both of them and are welded to them perpendicularly to guide tube 1. The spherical envelope consists of two hemispheres (3). The space between the guide tube (1) and the outside spherical envelope is filled in with a high strength filling compound. Guide tube (1) and hemispheres (3) are made of thinwalled steel or high-quality steel. The hemispheres are welded to each other along the sphere equator and flattened on the poles. The hemispheres on the mentioned poles are provided with openings for reception of the respective bushes. ^ EFFECT: reduced cost and simplified manufacture of the ball for the ball cock, especially for large values of the nominal bore of the cock. ^ 5 cl, 3 dwg
