PURPOSE: A method for coating rice with Phyllostachys pubescens extract is provided together with an apparatus thereof. It prevents cracking of rice while allowing even coating of the Phyllostachys pubescens extract to be achieved on the surface of rice. CONSTITUTION: The rice coating method contains the steps of: spraying a coating liquid(10) in the form of fine mist over rice in a coating machine(1); moving coated rice while introducing air into a spiral shaft(14) in which an entanglement preventing stick(16) and an air injection hole(17) are formed between impellers(15); tempering rice by allowing dropping of rice through a plurality of funnel-shaped passages(22) in a tempering machine(20); and drying it with warm air on an inclined vibration mesh plate(26) in a drier(23). |
