<p>PURPOSE: A biological media for advanced sewage and wastewater treatment is provided which is inexpensive and easily produced by using PP or PE and waste vinyl particle as a principal raw material, and which improves microbial immobilization because it has high specific surface area and porosity, and a manufacturing method thereof is provided. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises first process of mixing the principal raw material with subsidiary raw materials in a mixing ratio of 1:0.05 to 0.2 after preparing a principal raw material obtained by mixing PP (polypropylene) or PE (polyethylene) with collected waste vinyl resin and pulverizing the mixture to grains having diameter of 2 to 3 mm and subsidiary raw materials including ocher, zeolite, diatomaceous earth, ceramic, activated carbon and charcoal powder; second process of performing the process of melting or carbonizing the mixture of the principal raw material and the subsidiary raw materials at 200 to 450 deg.C for 3 to 10 min three times, wherein the process comprises first step of melting or carbonizing the mixture so that the principal raw material and the subsidiary raw materials are carbonized to about 50%, second step of melting or carbonizing the mixture so that the principal raw material and the subsidiary raw materials are carbonized to about 90%, and third step of completing melting process; and third process of molding the carbonized and molten mixture at injection speed of 0.01 to 0.03 m/sec and pressure of 150 to 300 ton/cm¬2 so that the mixture is formed in a sheet shape, drawing out the molded sheet to the atmosphere so that numerous prominences and depressions are formed on the surface of the sheet as the sheet is being injected and burst out by temperature difference and pressure difference, and cooling the sheet.</p> |
