PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic PTC thermistor and its manufacturing method which improves the durability against the thermal history subjected to a reflow step, etc. at high temperatures. SOLUTION: The organic PTC thermistor manufacturing method comprises a step of mixing a filler with an organic binder to obtain a mixture, a step of forming a mixture layer of the mixture on a first conductor foil to form a laminate, a step of laminating a second conductor foil or the other laminate on the laminate so as to hold the mixture layer between opposed conductor foils to obtain an insert. At least one of the mixing step, the layer forming step and the laminating step is executed at a reduced pressure, thus obtaining the organic PTC thermistor. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
