PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an IC board to be TAB mounted highly precisely even if a liquid cell is deformed due to a warp, a bend or the like. SOLUTION: A pair of upper and lower side correction pads 41a, 41b constitute a correction means 40 and are capable of moving closer to or away from each other, and are configured to be driven to rise and fall together with lifting boards 44a, 44b which are driven to rise and fall by lifting cylinders 46a, 46b. When the correction pads 41a, 41b are in a state of corrective operation, the interval between them is set to be a little wider than the thickness of a liquid crystal cell 1, and even if the liquid cell 1 is deformed, it is corrected to be nearly horizontal at a position where an IC board 10 is disposed. Then, it is detected whether there is a position deviation or not with reference to alignment marks 6, 15, and alignment is carried out after detecting a position deviation between the IC board 10 and the liquid crystal cell 1.
