PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized high-output reliable thermoactuator in which a cartridge-type heat sensing part incorporating a wax expandable in a specific temperature range, and a power adjust mechanism of lever type or pressure type are incorporated. SOLUTION: The thermoactuator takes out the power generated at the heat sensing part 5 by a primary shaft 4 in the lever type case, wherein the power of the primary shaft 4 is received by a secondary shaft 3, and a necessary power and movable area are adjusted and outputted by an arm 6 by using the principle of leverage. In the pressure type case, the power of a primary shaft 4 is received by a piston 9, and a necessary power and movable area are adjusted and outputted by a second shaft 3 by using Pascal's principle through an internal pressure of the cylinder 10. The movable direction is adjusted by the shape of the arm 6 or the cylinder 10, and their installing manner. The hysteresis regarding operation and restoration is adjusted by changing a spring 2 to restore the heat sensing part 5.
