摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly accurately measure flow velocities etc. by uniformly propagating ultrasonic waves through a channel. SOLUTION: This apparatus for measuring the flow of a fluid has at least a pair of ultrasonic transmitters/receivers 2a and 2b arranged on the upstream and downstream sides of the fluid channel and measures the flow velocity and/or quantity of flow of the fluid on the basis of the propagation delay time of ultrasonic waves between the ultrasonic transmitters/receivers 2a and 2b. The ultrasonic transmitters/receivers 2a and 2b are each constituted of a piezoelectric body 12 and an acoustic matching member 13. A hollow ultrasonic adjusting means is arranged at the center of the acoustic matching member 13.
