PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ice dispenser which realizes quantitative extraction without being affected by an outdoor air temperature. SOLUTION: In the ice dispenser comprising a cooling cylinder 15 provided on an outer wall with a cooler 2, an auger 16 concentrically and rotatably inserted into the cooling cylinder 15, and an auger motor 45 for rotating and driving the auger 16, and further comprising an ice maker IM which scrapes the ice generated on an inner wall of the cooling cylinder 15 with the auger 16, transfers the scraped ice upward and compresses the ice, thereby continuously generating an ice piece and storing the ice in an ice storage box 19, a control means estimates the amount of ice made based on an index based on an outdoor air temperature, as well as estimates the amount of ice extracted based on the time required for opening/closing a shutter 29 of the ice storage box 19, estimates the amount of ice molten in the ice storage box 19 based on the index based on the outdoor air temperature, and then estimates the amount of ice stored in the ice storage box 19 based on the amount of ice made, amount of ice extracted and amount of ice molten.
