PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phosphorescence dopant material-using organic electroluminescence element which retains a high light emitting efficiency, typical of phosphorescence, and has a long life showing little luminosity-decrease when it is used continuously. SOLUTION: A material for forming an emitter layer is obtained by combining a host material comprising two or more different charge transfer compounds with a dopant material comprising an organic metal complex containing at least one metal selected from groups 7-11 of the periodic table, and is characterized in that the excited triplet level (T1) of the two or more different charge transfer compounds is not less than 2.2 eV.
