PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body structure capable of ensuring the rigidity of a reinforcement member for reinforcing an instrument panel without increasing its thickness. SOLUTION: The reinforcement member comprises a first instrument panel frame 6 having a rigid surface 8 with uniform thickness and a second instrument panel frame 28 separate from the first instrument panel frame. The first instrument panel frame and the second instrument panel frame are mutually fastened through a support 24 and extended in the vehicle lateral direction, and both the lateral ends thereof are fixed to a body frame, whereby the instrument panel 1 is reinforced.
