PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slip stopping structure for a floor mat of an automobile capable of reliably stopping slip of the floor mat even when fixing the floor mat only at one part of a peripheral edge by a locking piece, eliminating application of a piratical floor mat or the like, and applying only a genuine floor mat with guaranteed function and quality. SOLUTION: The floor mat slip stopping structure includes an eyelet 1 provided on a floor mat M on a floor surface of a cabin, and a locking piece 2 to be hooked and connected to the eyelet 1. The locking piece 2 comprises a base 4, a mounting pin 5 protruded from a lower side of one end of the base 4, and a hooking pin 6 protruded from an upper side of the other end of the base, and is fixed to the floor surface of the cabin via the mounting pin 5. The sectional contour line of a pin shaft 14 of the hooking pin 6 and a connection hole 21 of the eyelet 1 are formed in a triangular shape, respectively, and the pin shaft 14 and the connection hole 21 are engaged with and connected to each other in a relatively non-turnable manner. The pin shaft 14 of the hooking pin 6 and a locking part 15 are divided by a slit 16 passing the center of the pin shaft 14 to facilitate attachment/detachment of the eyelet 1.
