PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent gas barrier film showing both a windability and a high barrier properties. SOLUTION: The high gas barrier film comprises a first layer of an inorganic compound mounted on a polymer film, a second layer mounted on the surface of the first layer so that contents of Al, C, and O of the boundary surface between the first and second layers become 10 to 20 atm%, 5 to 25 atm% and 5 to 35 atm% respectively, and a third layer mounted so that a content of Si of the boundary surface between the second and third layers becomes 5 to 35 atm%.
