PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for faithfully manufacturing a three-dimensional shaped article inclusive of its shape and a hue to provide the three-dimensional shaped article having colored appearance and excellent in mechanical strength in a short time at low cost. SOLUTION: In the three-dimensional shaped article manufacturing method including a process for forming a layer containing a powder material on a support and a process for bonding the obtained powder material layer imagewise by a binder, (a) a synthetic organic powder is used as the powder material and (b) the binder is cured by active radiation. Further, in the three-dimensional shaped article containing the powder material and the binder and formed by three-dimensionally curing the binder, the powder material contains the synthetic organic powder and the binder contains a binder cured by active radiation.
