PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide thin and fully flexible knitted fabric for a hook-and-loop fastener on a female member side, which has high engaging force with a male member side at a low cost. SOLUTION: Tricot knitted fabric 16 is formed by using knitting yarn of polyester fibers. For the stitch patterns of the tricot knitted fabric 16, the stitch pattern constituting the pile of a surface part F, the stitch pattern constituting an intermediate part M and the stitch pattern constituting a back surface part B are knitted respectively by repeating a prescribed pattern, and the stitch pattern of the knitting yarn of the surface part F and the stitch pattern of the knitting yarn of the back surface part B are knitted at a position where the knitting advancing directions of the knitting yarn of each other are roughly opposite and crossed with each other. The knitting yarn of the surface part F forms the loop 20 of the female member of the hook-and-loop fastener. The knitting yarn constituting the surface part F of the tricot knitted fabric 16 is relatively thick yarn, the knitting yarn of the intermediate part M is relatively thin yarn, the the knitting yarn of the back surface part B is the one of medium thickness.
