PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the usability by preventing the moving of the forearm parts on armrests against friction when reclining a backrest to a seat. SOLUTION: An electric wheelchair 10 includes a seat cushion (seat) 11, a seat back (backrest) 12 receiving the back part of an occupant sitting on the seat cushion 11, and a footrest 13 supporting the leg parts under the knees of the occupant sitting on the seat cushion 11 and served as the footrest. The armrests 30 disposed in a predetermined height position of the left/right sides of the seat back 12 are displaced while retaining an approximate parallel state with the seat cushion 11 despite of reclining of the seat back 12 by a link mechanism 31 and is slidable to the front/rear by a slide mechanism.
